The demolition work started in June 2020 brings major changes to our company site in Mönchengladbach. The first step is to tear down Halls 15-17, Building G and 2 adjacent semi-detached houses – and prepare the material for recycling. Because this is also a major theme of the SMS group Campus project. A mobile crushing plant breaks the demolished material into small pieces at our production site in Mönchengladbach. In this way, masonry and concrete from the demolished buildings can be recycled to create a construction access road. As well as saving the costs of disposal and additional building materials, this helps to protect our environment.
