- Course duration: 3½ years (can be shortened to 3 years)
- In-house, hands-on teaching alongside vocational school

What qualifications and attributes do you need to bring?
- At least a secondary school leaving qualification
- You have a sense of responsibility and enjoy all things tech
- Interest in tech work and manual crafts
- Knowledge of math and science
- Good spatial awareness and visual thinking

- Monthly salary: 1st year: €1,031.55; 2nd year: €1,082.91; 3rd year: €1,159.22; 4th year: €1,259.43 (from May 2024: 1st year: €1,065.59; 2nd year: €1,118.65; 3rd year: €1,197.47; 4th year: €1,300.99)

- You will learn how to use welding torches, punching or large drilling machines as well as lifting equipment, become familiar with test and inspection procedures and quality assurance methods, and receive training in the latest manufacturing techniques.

That's because you will be able to cut steel sections, plates and pipes to size, install prefabricated assemblies, and use technical drawings to manufacture precise single parts and pieces. You will also service and repair metal constructions, tools, or production machines.
