QuinLogic was established in Aachen in 2008 and is a wholly owned subsidiary of SMS group since 2019.
To enable industrial mass production and at the same time highest flexibility, QuinLogic developed software products by applying latest generation of computing power and storage capabilities. Based on this technical evolution, QuinLogic provides an “easy to use” quality assurance solution for metal production facilities.
QuinLogic software
The QuinLogic software secures reliable quality for the challenging markets, e.g. for automotive-, aerospace-, wind energy-, high strength- and wear resistant material grades. It also provides proactive support, to immediately address production problems and therefore minimize deficiencies in customer products. Its seamless communication interfaces to existing MES, ERP and gauging systems allows fully integrated systems in all existing but also new production lines.
QuinLogic focuses on key value drivers: improving revenues (upgrades, reassigns), reducing cost (material, energy, labor), and increasing yield (uptime, throughput, quality).

Automated coil grading
One of the important steps involved in achieving automatic coil grading is to connect all of the existing as well as the current and continuously incoming data with one another. In doing so, a lot of the previously inaccessible data is made part of the data overview.
Production data warehouse
The Production Data Warehouse offers secure, transformed and structured storage of data. Its rule-based data validation prevents garbage in – garbage out scenarios. Secure transacting prevents corrupt data storage while extensive and detailed logging allows for ease of verification and troubleshooting.
Proactive product supervision
The Proactive Production Supervision is a solution offered to eliminate procedural inconsistencies in daily routine. It unlocks data that is often hidden in databases (e.g. SCADA, Historian system, etc.) and helps in attaining a better understanding of the situation.
